Praise the Lord! Hymn 272 The Comforter Has Come was composed by a well known Irish-born American hymnwriter William J. Kirkpatrick. After His ascension, the Lord Jesus fulfils His promised by sending the Holy Spirit to be with us as our Helper, our Comforter, and to guide us into all truth. As members of the Ture Jesus Church, we have a duty and mission to spread this good tidings to all corners of the world. After proclaiming that the Comforter Has Come in the first verse, this arrangement for clarinet and piano has a variation in the middle section leading to the climax reprise of the main theme.
