57. Just as I Am 我罪極重
Our Lord Jesus died on the cross and shed His precious blood to redeem all of us. Though our sin are so great and yet He was willing to cleanse and forgive us. What more can we do but only to draw closer to Him and follow His true way. This calm and gentle hymn reminds us of His great love, tells us to walk aright in His sight and to become a true soldier of the cross.
Just as I am, without one plea,
But that Thy blood was shed for me,
And that Thou bidst me come to Thee,
O Lamb of God, I come! I come!
Just as I am, and waiting not
To rid my soul of one dark blot,
To Thee whose blood can cleanse each spot,

With many a conflict, many a doubt,
Fightings and fears within, without,
