Hallelujah, praise the Lord! The Hymns of Praise Really Easy Piano Book II has been completed – part two contains Hymns 470 to 525. Similar to Book I, all the hymns have been simplified into the three keys of C, F and G majors. These are suitable for beginner pianists or members who have just started playing the piano and would like to learn these hymns in order to praise and serve our Lord Jesus. As the majority of these hymns are still under copyright, Book II can be used for private reference only. Please do not share or distribute.

Hallelujah, praise the Lord! The Hymns of Praise Easy Piano Book II has been updated – Book II contains Hymns 470 to 525. Similar to Book I, all the hymns have single melodic right hand line with simplify left hand accompaniment. These are suitable for grade 3 to 6 pianists or members who are keen to play and yet finding playing from the current hymn book not so easy and tricky.
As the majority of these hymns are still under copyright, Book II can be used for private reference only. Please do not share or distribute.

Since arranging the Hymns of Praise – Easy Arrangements for Piano last year, some parents felt the arrangements are still too difficult for their children as they are only at an elementary level. On one occasion, a church member approached me and asked me to simplify one of the hymns for her daughter to play. This inspired me to arrange a new, even simpler album for beginners: the Hymns of Praise – Really Easy Arrangements for Piano. In order to give brethren who have only learnt piano for a short period of time the opportunity to access hymns from our church, the Really Easy Arrangements only uses 3 keys – C major, G major and F major. Not only just much easier to master the melody in the right hand, the left hand is also limited mostly to the five-finger position. This enables the pianist to concentrate on expressing the right-hand melodic line.
Second edition has imporved left hand as well as fingering throughout making it more easier and straight forward to learn and play.

The aim and intention in arranging the Hymns of Praise – Easy Arrangements for Piano is to provide an introduction to hymn playing for those brethren who have been learning piano for a few years. The hymns are written with the original melody in one hand, and part playing or simple accompaniment in the other. These arrangements are designed not only to help pianists develop their skills but also to enable members who are committed to the music ministry to have the opportunity to accompany hymn singing in family services, religious education classes, fellowships or even in congregational singing after learning. In addition, for those pianists already serving in the church, this album may provide inspiration and ideas for more variations when accompanying hymn singing.
